TV swansong and CBBC SMart ran a joint competition following the SMart programme shown on November the 29th featuring the work of TV swansong artist Jessica Voorsanger.         On the programme Kirsten showed you how to make plaster cast pictures of your favorite TV personalities and we asked you to send in the results of what you'd made ... For those of you who missed the programme you can see how Jessica made these great 3D pictures by going to Jessica's recipe pages. The winners of the competition were announced here on the TV swansong website on the day of the webcast they were Alma, Eleanor, Georgina and Michaela - congratulations! The lucky winners received a bag of SMart and TV SWANSONG goodies (including one of the great TV SWANSONG T shirts Jessica wore on the programme) AND the chance to travel to London and spend the afternoon with Jessica and appear on the web cast. On the day of the web cast (20/03/02) Jessica broadcast live from the LCCA in London where she hosted the private view of works made by four children who entered the competition. She wanted to announce the winners with Matthew Collins who is more used to commenting on artworks for the Turner Prize TV show broadcast from the Tate but he was stuck in traffic so Jessie had to go it alone!
